Who were you before this,
before it all began?
You know.
You sit out on the waters.
You connect with the young man.
You feel his vitality
and his pulsating passion
to become
to live
and for no one else to watch
or approve
or find meaningful.
For meaning is HERE,
in this,
in being,
and remembering,
and becoming.
Always becoming.
Even now, in these haunting requiems….
Become him.
