Matt a ninth time came – relapsed again
cries his eyes about tonic and gin

while Larry lectures on about UFO’s
Gretchyn’s in the corner playing cards
While Jesus sits smiles with them all

But I heard it said that God so loved these ones
That they’re His pride and thats why he did come
Here’s a word to treasure and learn: “empathy”
and its cousin is even better, sweet “sympathy”
