my eyes have seen the ravished throng
my ears have heard the bells, the gongs
I’ve danced their jig and sung their songs but
not for once have I known you
not for once have I known you
the garden lies in disrepair
the wreckage cries, self-aware
and I for one cant help but stare as
not for once have I known you
not for once have I known you
O my self
who are you really
and what, exactly,
are you capable of?
