I: Oh God – my soul is disturbed deep within me, and I am afraid. I know your Voice. Speak to me as I walk. You have shown me the Path of Life. But when I step, I become greatly afraid.
Cepha…. Abide in Me. Your fear is your resistance.
I: …….Take me back to the story.
He was afraid “when he saw the strong wind.” This does not mean that he was fearless before. He was afraid in the boat, and stepping. But he was also con-fide-nt. Full of faith. And thus brave. Courageous. “But when he saw the Strong Wind…” He was afraid.
I: That’s not different. His faith – where did it go?
“Beginning to sink…”
I: So thats effect. The result. (Seeing the strong wind) gave the rational mind data to operate on, resulting in the amydela triggered, flight/flight response activated, parasympatheic offline, all of it.
Yes. And Peter?
I: “Lord, save me!”
Faith says that.
Abide. Be the dragonfly. See the strong wind, turn your whole body towards it. Be still, inside, and fly.
Wind cannot disturb Shadow.
What lies beneath is established by what reigns above.
Integrate this.
Abide in Me,
and you shall cast Its Shadow.

stay in my shade
the sun is too hot
for you.
Dwell in the shelter
of the most high God
and you will escape the flames
