decisions
I’ve ever made,
the worst (by far)
and the best (by much more)
and the most ignorant (by a longshot)
was answering:
“my father’s will”
when asked:
“what do you want?”
O bless my stars
above and below
I couldn’t see then
just what I see now,
back when the gods of heaven and hell
were silent as I answered Him as a child,
heart pounding still ever-shouting of what is
