Morning Prayer

“All of these things
were just the beginning.
Learn.
Recall how
you suppress
the Truest things;
now let them all rise.
Recall the sound
of the voice you hear
with only somatic feeling;
the hum and the vibrations
in your body.
Do you hear them?
And as you allow yourself
to listen,
do not ask,
“What do they say?”
and do not ask,
“What does it mean?“
You know.
You know.
It’s the hidden form
that causes you to Fear.
For what can you do
but project
onto the unknown?
What can you see
in your own foresight
but that which only
your own mind can conceive?
Do not ask,
“What does it mean?”
And do not ask,
“How?”
Just listen, again,
and notice:
Do you hear?
And do you hear the same?”
